Your first notebook, in four steps

Nothing to install and no keys to set up. It runs in your browser.

Step one

Create a Meta-Me account, or sign in to the one you have. Your first 30 days are free, then it is £8 a month and includes every Meta-Me app.

Step two

Make a notebook

Give it the name of the thing you are looking into: “Moving to Bristol”, “Sleep”, “My dissertation”. You can make as many as you like.

Step three

Add a few sources

Paste a link to an article or a YouTube video, drop in a PDF, or write a note. Three or four is plenty to start. Each one is read as it arrives, and a moment later you can see its summary and outline.

An open notebook with an article, a magazine page, a video and a link being tucked into it.

Step four

Ask it something

Open the notebook’s chat and ask the question that made you start. Then try: “What do these sources disagree about?” or “What should I read next?” When you want to go further, ask it to research the question and it will add a report to the notebook.
